Most people clean the lint trap after each load. But that barely scratches the surface.
Lint, dust, and hair sneak past the trap and build up in the vent tunnel, in the hose, and even inside the dryer body. It sits there for months — sometimes years — slowly clogging things up and turning into a fire hazard.
