A two-tier black dish drying rack on a countertop, holding 15 plates, bowls, glasses, and utensils.

Some kitchens are just tight on space. Whether it’s a small apartment, a shared house, or a camper with one narrow counter, drying dishes without making a mess can be tricky.

Plates stack up. Utensils roll around. And somehow, there’s always water pooling under everything.

That’s where this 2-tier dish rack comes in handy. It’s compact, but it goes vertical, giving you two shelves to work with instead of one.

The bottom is great for bowls and mugs, while the top holds plates upright so they don’t slide or clank together. There’s even a cutlery holder on the side, and a drainboard underneath to catch water and guide it right into the sink.

It looks sharp too. Black stainless steel, not bulky, and fits right on the counter without crowding things. And if you’ve got upper cabinets, just double-check the height — it’s about 15 inches tall.

Now, if your kitchen setup is really limited — like, no counter space at all — this over-sink rack might be the better pick.

It stretches across the sink, holds just the basics, and comes with a silicone tray underneath. You can also collapse it down when it’s not in use or slide it into a drawer.

So if your current drying setup is a wobbly tower of plates on a dish towel, maybe one of these is worth a try.

They’re simple, they work, and they make cleanup a little less chaotic.
